Morrowind Max Base Animation Files
After having copied the nif to the correct subdirectory of Morrowind. Open up TESCS and select the master file. We'll make a new esp file that swaps our new chest mesh with the normal Imperial chest.
It will take a few moments to load the world and all information up. Be patient a moment.
When everything is loaded. Select the Body Parts tab and scroll down to Imperial body parts.
Right click on the chest and choose Edit.
For body part choose Chest, also check playable should be selected and whether it is a male or female chest. Now click the ART button and browse to your new nif file.
Once you find it, click Open and it's done. Now we need to save our new mod. So click File and Save and give it a meaningful name. Start up MW, under datafiles select your new esp file, then enter the game with a brand new Imperial. Take that shirt off and look. Yes! It's our new mesh. Congratulations, you have just added a custom chest for the Imperial. Sort of odd looking but it sure illustrates our point!
