 I've attached all the meshes making them one mesh, there is nothing more to attach.

  Now the important stuff!!  See the axis of the mesh?  Looks good but we need to make sure it's pivot is aligned to the world and to the chest of the biped.  So go to the Heirarchy tab again. Select Affect Pivot Only and then click align to world.

  Now let's unhide that biped and really check it out to be sure it fits right on the chest.

  To get this right, I'm going to need all four views, so I'll zoom extents for each window and work in each window top, back and left view until I am certain it is fitting well. Only takes a bit of moving things around.

   I'm satisfied, now it's time to apply our Textures to the mesh.
