 Okay minimize the Material editor and let's add another and very important extra max property to our mesh.  This is called NiTriShape.  This is a method AnImmerse uses to reduce rendering time.  It's good to pack as many triangles into a single NiTriShape as possible.  If you only have a few polys it is much less necessary.  Right click on the chest and choose Properties, add the special property.

Now it's time to add Physique to the stack.  This is the modifier which will cause our chest to deform and to breath. Click the Modifier tab and scroll down and find Physique.

  This is where we connect our chest to the biped.

Choose Attach to Node and then use the selection tool and choose Bip01 and click Pick.

  Make sure to have already checked Deformable and unchecked everything except Link Blending. Then hit Pick.  Now the Initialization screen pops up. We'll use default settings here.

  Click the plus sign next to the Physique modifier in the stack and scroll down to look at vertex assignments.

 Click Select and drag your mouse across, highlighting all those  +'s
